This week was very uneventful on the ‘training front’. I have firmly completed my mind shift, and also firmly committed to the upcoming training year, but due to a variety of circumstances the week was not that much of a success in terms of my actual training.
So, here is a brief recap:
A. Super good core work out in the morning.

2. 15 hours of training.
3. Good strength training.
Clearly I do not have my ‘A’ game yet. I am getting there. The body is getting back to the level it needs to be at, and the strength and explosive training is really happening well, and helping with my overall fitness. Good news. As for my other goals: I drank a lot less coffee this week. I did one running speed session this week. (not including explosiveness, etc). My core strength is good; needs to improve. I failed to really sleep any more than normal; need to improve on this. As this ski season moves forward, I will be better able to allocate time to ‘severe’ training, mostly due to my time efficiency with my work, etc. My mind is there; and my body is getting there. Stay tuned. Much much more to come. Thanks for reading. DC
