This past week was a good one of rest. I ran 41 miles, biked once or twice, did some light core work, ate well, hydrated well, and stretched well. Once again, though eating well, during a rest week I lost weight. I am now the lightest I have been since 2001. I feel great, but am confused as to why I lose weight when I really cut my mileage. Weight: 162.
Week In Review: June 23, 2008 – June 29, 2008
PM: 30 min easy river run jog: 4 miles. sit-ups/pushups/bathing/stretching.
PM: 30 min walk; exhausted. bathing/stretching.
PM: 60 min. run. Contour trail. bathing/stretching/massage.
PM: 90 min run. Potato/contour trails/front-side. bathing/stretching.
AM: 2 hr. Hartman Rocks bike Ride with Annie.
PM: 70 min “W” Mtn. run from Gold Basin Road. sit-ups/pushups/stretching.
PM: 65 min run: H-man’s: Dusk. Ran sacrifice all the way to joshos to rattlesnake, behind the rocks, road, Jack’s and in. Best I have felt in a very long time. sit-ups/pushups/stretching.
Week Total: 41 running miles.
