Hello all. ‘Beyond The Epic Run’ is a great movie about running and so much more. I was very fortunate to be able to go up to Denver and check it out. I was even able to bring several of my friends. We all found the movie to be inspirational, entertaining, educational, and downright epic. I would highly recommend checking this film out! I believe this month is the official release date; so look for it at their website at: www.beyondtheepicrun.com . It was also great to be able to meet ‘Serge’; the Swiss gentleman who actually ran 25,000 miles around the world. He was very humble; but very engaging; and a fantastic communicator. I was fortunate enough to be able to ask him a few questions; one of which was “What was his greatest memory from this 5 year epic?” He told me; that the greatest thing that he took away from this was: “to realize that he was very wealthy, fortunate, and lucky to be raised/live in such wealth.” He also said: ” that we (wealthy westerners) have every opportunity to make choices, etc.” He said that in most of the rest of the world, people cannot make decisions like we can. (i.e.: Freedom)” He did not mean these comments as words to condemn wealth and prosperity; but I think he was saying that we have responsibilities based on our wealth and position in the world. Again; a humble man who is very passionate about life and people: I am fortunate to have met him. Thanks for the time Serge!!! Here is the trailer one more time for those that have not seen it yet.
