The 2011 Leadville 100 was a unique experience as I will have many fond memories from this year’s event. I am tremendously thankful for my awesome support crew who once again got me across the finish line in one piece. Thank you guys so much! This finish means a lot and you all were such a big part of it. You can read my full race report here on the Vasque Blog. I was certainly not firing on all cylinders this year but I still took many learning lessons out of this event. A gigantic thank you to Vasque for their unparalleled support for the third year in a row. Enjoy this slideshow (below) and be sure to check out the full race report here.
Will I be back at Leadville again in the near future? Not sure. After running five in a row, it may be time for a break from one of my favorite towns and races in the world. One thing is for sure… I like running a lot and that will not change. There are many more races and running experiences out there which I look forward to both in the near and distant future. Here’s to ‘re-circling the wagons’ and making sure to learn from poor performances. More to come. Thanks for reading. Be well. DC
